Personal profile

Dr Mohamed ElAgroudy received his BSc (Hons) in Construction/Civil Engineering in 1990, an MSc in 2008, a PhD in Structural Engineering in 2016 from Ain Shams University, Egypt, and a Master’s in Construction Law & Arbitration (LLM) in 2021 from Robert Gordon University, UK, with a strong emphasis on Construction Engineering and Management. He is currently serving as the Programme Leader of the MSc in Project Management programme at ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø, UK.

He has made notable contributions to the field of Construction Engineering and Management through several peer-reviewed journal publications, academic lectures, and teaching a range of courses, including construction project management, project management, risk management, stakeholders’ management, contracts management and dispute resolution.

His research interests include AI-driven project management, optimisation and decision-making in procurement & supply chain management, Facility Management, stakeholders’ engagement & management, sustainable construction & project management, contracts & claims and Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADRs).

He is an active member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), United States Green Building Council, New York Upstate Chapter (USGBC), Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), and American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
